The property is situated at approximately 750 m east and up from Funchal old town, in a residential area. The mature gardens, offer meandering paths in local stone, flower beds and old trees, a traditional Madeiran Casa de Prazeres, a small garden conservatory, with a sitting area and a Chapel which may be used by guests for worship.
