Cannúa Lodge

Cannúa is a mountain shelter, immersed in the Colombian Andes, which invites you to enjoy authentic local experiences and slow down the pace of daily life. The design of the property is based on the permaculture and occupies a protected forest spanning 9 hectares (22 acres), which is inhabited by over 80 bird species, with trails that are waiting to be explored. The hotel offers cozy atmosphere, with only 18 guest rooms and cabin, all of which offer views of San Nicolás Valley, WiFi, a selection of pillows, work desk, games, umbrellas, flashlight, cotton robes, private bathroom with rain shower, and organic bath amenities. Services include guided walks at sunset and the permaculture tour.

The restaurant at the property serves haute cuisine dishes that combine innovative techniques with Colombian traditional flavors, and uses carefully-selected fresh local ingredients, as well as products harvested within its own orchard. There is also a bar that serves craft beverages and with Spa services. The hotel offers adventure tours such as bird watching, walks through a pre-Hispanic trail, cooking lessons, beverage tastings, excursions through the surroundings, and services for events and weddings.

The hotel is located in the countryside area of Marinilla, 7 kilometers (4.3 mi) from the city. The property is 22 kilometers (13.7 mi) from El Carmen del Viboral, a town famous for its ceramic production; and 34 kilometers (21.1 mi) from the picturesque town of Guatapé and its reservoir. José María Córdova International Airport (MDE) is 28 kilometers (17.4 mi) away.
