Barceló Maya Palace is an all-inclusive family beach hotel within the Barceló Maya Beach Resort complex in the Xpu-Ha area. This resort has 756 colonial-style junior suites and suites with typical Caribbean details and a balcony or terrace to enjoy the views. It also has the Premium Level program for those looking for personalized attention, a children's club with a water park and an adult-only area with a pool and bar. Its six restaurants offer ocean views and serve buffet food, Brazilian-style meats and Caribbean, French and Mexican specialties.

In the complex there are nine swimming pools, including some semi-Olympic and children's pools, two water parks, an 18-hole surf simulator, bowling alley and golf course. There is also a shopping mall, event rooms for 850 people, a church with Sunday mass service, three theaters where different shows are presented every night and two discotheques, one for teenagers. In addition, it houses a spa with 22 cabins for state-of-the-art treatments and services for children, a dolphinarium for guests only and a diving center.
