Located directly on the Salzach River, near the main bridge and facing the old town, this city hotel is a great choice for anyone visiting Salzburg. The city centre is just 2 minutes' walk away and there guests can find some amazing shopping outlets and outstanding restaurants. The birthplace of the arguably the most famous citizen of the city – Mozart, is just 200 metres away. The famous seventeenth-century Baroque cathedral and the Hohensalzburg fortress, one of the largest medieval castles in the whole of Europe, both can be reached within a 10-minute walk. As benefiting any building in the city the hotel creates its own combination of ambitious, fashionable design that complements the impressive baroque architecture of the city of Mozart. A special highlight is the Stein terrace café-bar-lounge with a breath-taking view over the beautiful scenery of the old city of Salzburg.
