Located between central Ragusa and the Mediterranean Sea, Poggio del Sole is an impressive 19th-century country manor. It features an outdoor swimming pool, and a modern wellness centre. Each room is spacious and elegantly furnished, and comes with a flat-screen TV and minibar. The interiors are modern, with a stylish design. Poggio del Sole Resort serves a large buffet breakfast that includes fresh cakes and pastries. There are 2 restaurants: the informal Hosteria for grilled meat and fish, and the elegant Ristorante dell'Angelo, set in the former stables. Set in Val di Noto, Poggio del Sole is surrounded by the hills and charming villages of the Iblean Plateau. It is 15 minutes' drive from Marina di Ragusa on the coast, and 10 km from Ragusa centre.
