Located less than 150 metres from Largo do Intendente, the "Lisbon Serviced Apartments - Benformoso" offer the most multi-cultural visitor experience in the city of Lisbon. The Intendente area has changed dramatically, from an area to be avoided to the place to stay in Lisbon. Bars / restaurants and shops combine to offer a more alternative experience. The Casa Independente, a bar / restaurant hosting cultural events is located in the centre of Largo do Intendente and is a must visit place for all those who are after something different from the standard tourist experience. In this area, clustered around Martim Moniz (the stop for the famous 28 tram), cultures from around the world meet up. The building has been completely restored, in keeping with its original character, and contains 11 apartments ranging from studios to 2 bedroom apartments. The apartments are comfortably furnished and offer all facilities: fully equipped kitchens, air conditioning, TV and free Wi-Fi.
