This design hotel is set in a charming building from the 1690s, located on a quiet urban island, 300 metres from the Modern Museum. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV and have views of the park or the sea. Rooms at the Skeppsholmen hotel have windows with traditional wooden shutters. Each bathroom features a Boffi Italian-designed sink and a modern shower. Bathrobes and slippers are also provided. The Skeppsholmen eco-friendly hotel provides room service throughout the day, as well as wireless Internet access and free access to the small gym. The restaurant serves traditional Swedish dishes, and the terrace offers spectacular views of the port. The ferries regularly cross the water to the Old Town of Stockholm, Gamla Stan.
