Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a resort inspired by the traditional African kraal, its curved horseshoe design offers a view of four abundant savannas where more than 200 ungulate animals and birds live. This property has a pool spanning over 1,000 square meters (10,764 sq ft) with beach-type access, and a water park with three different areas with games suitable for children aged up to 4, 5 to 7, and guests over 8 years. The property also has a fully-equipped fitness center and a Spa. To delight in new flavors, restaurants at the hotel serve African-inspired cuisine and classic American dishes, beer, and African wines. Accommodations are equipped with in-room safe, WiFi, coffeemaker, and mini-refrigerator. Orlando International Airport (MCO) is 39 kilometers (24.2 mi) away. ***Food plans: The DISNEY QUICK-SERVICE DINING plan is a quick and simple option where guests over 3 years of age receive: 2 fast-food meals, 1 snack or beverage, and 1 glass to fill beverages at the hotel. The DISNEY DINING PLAN offers classic dining options at quick-service and table service restaurants, including those offering meals with characters. It includes: 1 fast-food service, 1 meal with table service, 1 snack or beverage. and 1 glass to fill beverages at the hotel. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The specific number of meals and snacks is determined by the number of nights included in the package stay; they can be redeemed at any time during the stay. Uneaten meals and snacks will be transferred from one day to the next and will expire at midnight on the day of check-out. Meals and snacks are not transferable among group members. Participating restaurants are subject to change. Important: The plan must be purchased for the entire stay and for all members of the reservation (3 years and older). Meals are not transferable among members of the group and cannot be eaten after midnight on the departure date. The total number of meals and snacks included is determined based on the number of nights included in the package. Guests can redeem their meals and snacks any day during their stay, until the number included in the package is used up.
