Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo is an all-inclusive family luxury beach hotel on the Samaná Coast. It has two swimming pools, a jacuzzi, several restaurants and bars, Wi-Fi, spa, water park and nightclub. It offers a daily activity program for children and adults and evening shows. Its all-inclusive plan offers a free hour of non-motorized water sports, a club for children and teenagers supervised by adults, access to the Bachata nightclub in Pueblo Príncipe, diving in the pool one hour per person per stay, transportation within the resort and Wi-Fi. Its 604 rooms and suites are equipped with air conditioning, flat screen TV with satellite channels, hot tub and shower, balcony or terrace and minibar. Family rooms also have a minibar with drinks for children, sweets and special amenities. There are five à la carte restaurants serving gourmet, Greek, Italian and Brazilian dishes, and one international buffet. The nine bars are distributed throughout the property, including the pools, beach and indoor pools. The complex has a gym, facilities for beach volleyball, basketball, soccer and archery, an amphitheater and aerobic and dance classes. Just 700 meters away is Playa Carolina, 12 kilometers from Playa Bonita, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic, and 15 kilometers from Playa Morón.
