Riu Hotels & Resorts
Riu specializes in all-inclusive beach resorts. Founded in 1953 in Spain, Riu has won its clientele’s trust through personalized service. Riu has over 100 hotels in 16 countries and classifies them in three groups: Classic, Club Hotels and Palace.
Some Riu hotels feature the Renova Spa with beauty, relaxation and health treatments; fitness center and some also feature the Pacha night club, open six nights a week. The Riu Land children’s program is available at select properties for children ages 4-12.
Riu Classic Hotels: All-inclusive three- four- and five- star beach resorts. Classic hotels offer the amenities and services expected from a five star beach resort (in-room mini bar, room service, concierge) plus others that have become a hallmark of Riu’s service: specialty buffet dinner, featuring Mexican, Brazilian or Japanese cuisine (reservation required) or theme buffet dinner twice a week. Snack and drink service is available 24 hours a day in resorts and Classic Hotels have a minimum of two specialty restaurants and two bars.
Riu Club hotels: The Riu Club hotels are all-inclusive three- four- and five star beach hotels offering a myriad of recreational activities. Both are located in prime beach locations and feature a vast list of options in cuisine, sports and entertainment.
Riu Palace Hotels: This is Riu's luxury brand. They offer all the services and amenities of Classic and Club Hotels and distinguish themselves through elegant and elaborate architecture and details like heated pools, children's water park and complimentary wireless internet access. Gastronomic choices include buffet and a la carte dining options serving Asian, Japanese, Mexican, Tapas and steakhouse restaurants (options vary by destination). Palace hotels also offer the Krystal Restaurant, integrating space, illumination and decoration with personal and efficient service with a menu that blend a range of ingredients from around the globe, flavors and textures.
